Erica Gantner, PMHNP

Erica Gantner is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been in the medical field since 2011. While in nursing school she worked as a medical technician providing care to patients with a variety of needs. In 2013 she graduated from Mount Carmel College of Nursing with her bachelor’s degree. Upon graduation she began working in a fast-paced emergency department for the next seven years. Throughout this time, she not only gained knowledge regarding trauma care but also developed a passion for patients struggling with mental health concerns.

Erica then returned to school and graduated in 2020 with her master’s in the science of nursing. She has since been working at an inpatient psychiatric facility caring for patients who are in acute crisis. Erica has experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar, mood disorders, trauma, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. She believes in working with each patient on an individual level and that no two patients are alike. She enjoys learning and staying informed on emerging medication and therapeutic interventions.

In her spare time, Erica enjoys being with her family and friends. She has a passion for traveling and attending concerts. She has done mission trips in Haiti for many years. Erica loves to stay active with hiking, camping, and all types of outdoor activities, running and practicing yoga. She has multiple half marathons and a full marathon under her belt.
